PRIVACY POLICY
This policy outlines our ongoing obligations to you in respect of how we manage your personal information. Site Inspections has adopted principles which embody the Australian Privacy Principles (“the Privacy Principles) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (“the Privacy Act”). The Privacy Principles govern the way in which we collect and use, disclose, store, secure and dispose of your personal information.

1. Personal information:
a. Personal information is information or opinion that identifies an individual, such as one’s name, date of birth, bank account details, signature, home address, email address and telephone number.
b. Your personal information can be obtained in a number of ways such as via correspondence, websites, cookies, other sources available to the public, and from third
parties.
c. We will collect your personal information to provide our services and goods to you as well as for marketing purposes. We may also use your personal information for secondary purposes which are related to our primary purpose, in circumstances where you would
reasonably expect such use or disclosure.
d. You may unsubscribe from our mailing or marketing lists at any time by confirming with us in writing.
e. When we collect your personal information, we will explain to you why we are collecting the information.
f. We will only collect your personal information from you when reasonable and practicable to do so. However, we may be provided with that information by third parties in some cases and in such cases, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that you are aware of the information provided to use by that third party.
2. Disclosure and security of personal information:
a. Your personal information may be disclosed to third parties where you consent to the use or disclosure, or where required or authorised by law.
b. We may use third party platforms and services to process sales of our services or products, store and analyse data and information, provide web support, send marketing
messages, deliver products or otherwise deliver information. These platforms are hosted and managed by third part organisations which may be located overseas.
c. We will use our best endeavours to store your personal information in a way that protects it from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. However, except to the extent that liability cannot be excluded due to the operation of statute, we exclude all liability (including in negligence) for the consequences of any unauthorised access to your personal information. Please notify us immediately if you become aware of any breach of security.
d. If your personal information is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was obtained, we will take reasonable steps to destroy it. However, most of the personal information will be kept by us for a minimum of 7 years.
3. Access and updates to your personal information:
a. You can access, update or correct the personal information we hold about you, subject to certain exceptions. If you want to access your personal information you will need to contact us in writing, and we may require a copy of your identification from you before
releasing any requested personal information.
b. Site Inspections will not charge a fee for your access request but may charge an administrative fee for providing a copy of your personal information.
c. It is important to use that your personal information is up to date and if you find that the information we have is not up to date or inaccurate please notify us as soon as possible so that we can update our records.
4. Policy updates:
Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time without notice to you, and
any changes will be accessible via our website.
